ABOUT: The Mujeres collective, founded by Macrina Mateo, is a 20-generation family tradition of pottery making. Macrina's worldwide recognition has earned her exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and features in Vogue. The intense red hue is derived from combining red and yellow clays sourced from the surrounding hills. Artisans craft the plates without molds or a pottery wheel, taking around ten days to finish each piece.
