Lynn Christian studied at The New York Studio School of Drawing Painting and Sculpture and also holds an Interior Design degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.  Lynn has participated in many group and solo exhibitions, and has work in collections throughout the USA.

Initially guided by an idea about color, proportion, or composition, emotional and spiritual aspects are what truly launch a painting. The works beginnings vary, and then continuously change throughout the process. During the interaction of painting, emotional and visual assessment is ongoing. Many transitions occur as the work moves through layers of application and correction, steadily influencing the process until the painting is finished.
